More than 100 athletes from several dozen countries from all parts of the world will run a marathon distance on the ice of Lake Baikal in extremely harsh weather conditions.

WWBridge team hopes that the 17th Baikal Ice Marathon "For the Preservation of Clean Waters" will remain in the memory for a long time.

Develop the Baikal region

The goal of the marathon is to promote the environmentally sustainable development of the Baikal region and promote active recreation and a healthy lifestyle on Lake Baikal.

Participants will traditionally be offered two distances – 21.1 and 42.2 km. The route runs between two opposite shores of the lake. The marathon runners will start in the village of Listvyanka (Irkutsk district), and finish on the opposite bank, near the village of Tankhoy (Republic of Buryatia). Those who run the "half" finish in the middle of the lake. Control points are located every 5 km.
WWBridge recognizes environmental protection as one of the most important factors for successful business development and intends to actively support the principles of caring for the environment. This is one of the company's priority areas of activity. We are happy to join a cause that benefits not only athletes, but also the environment.
