When certification requirements come up for the first time, many questions always arise. How to understand according to which regulations the products fall? The products may at first look similar, but the regulations could be different. Let's figure it out together.
Furniture products (furniture) - a set of stationary or movable products for the furnishings of residential and public premises.
We all know that such furniture as tables, chairs, shelves, wardrobes and we easily indicate it as furniture. In addition, beds, mattresses, playpens, toy boxes, and all furniture for children are also identified and included in the TR CU 025. On the other hand stands and tables for television, radio, video equipment, for smartphones are also included in TR CU 025.
Important note!
This technical regulation does not apply to medical furniture; furniture intended for use in air, ground, and underground transport; antique furniture; used and refurbished furniture; furniture samples intended at exhibitions and for advertising.
How to issue TR CU 025 "On the safety of furniture products"?
For furniture Certification or Declaration of Conformity is required. What difference is between?
CoC TR CU 025 "On the safety of furniture products" only for furniture for children, educational institutions, and pre-schools.
DoC TR CU 025 "On the safety of furniture products" for all other types of furniture.
