On November 7, 2019, Rosstandart approved new national standards for the series “Robots and Robotic Devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions". The best international practices have been taken into account for new standards development. A number of documents were modified in relation to ASTM International standards. At the moment, there are only eight standards, but this is not the end:
1❗GOST R 60.6.3.6-2019 “Robots and robotic devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions. Patency. Surface movement with longitudinal irregularities”;
2❗GOST R 60.6.3.7-2019 “Robots and robotic devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions. Patency. Surface movement with transverse irregularities”;
3❗GOST R 60.6.3.8-2019 “Robots and robotic devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions. Patency. Surface movement with stepped irregularities”;
4❗GOST R 60.6.3.9-2019 “Robots and robotic devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions. Patency. Driving with a Supported Speed ”;
5❗GOST R 60.6.3.10-2019 “Robots and robotic devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions. Patency. Movement with towed object”;
6❗GOST R 60.6.3.11-2019 “Robots and robotic devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions. Human interaction with the robot when performing a job search. Arbitrary labyrinths on the ground ";
7❗GOST R 60.6.3.12-2019 “Robots and robotic devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions. Radio communication in the line of sight";
8❗GOST R 60.6.3.13-2019 “Robots and robotic devices. Test methods for robots to work in extreme conditions. Radio communication out of line of sight. ”
In the near future, 4 more standards of this series will be ready for approval.
The purpose of standards development is the increase in the interoperability of robots and their components and the reduction of the development costs as well, production and maintenance due to standardization and unification of processes, interfaces, nodes and parameters.
The new standards relate to the thematic group “Types and Test Methods” and apply to mobile service robots designed to operate in extreme conditions, for example, in the event of consequences of natural and technological disasters. However, the data can also be used in testing mobile robots. The approved standards define test methods for various robots that require test results, testing, testing, testing, testing, testing, testing, testing and testing. ,
The standards will come into effect in March 2020.
